my session this past weekend was awesome.

lucky for me, one of the family members happens to be one of my very dearest friends.

they came to see walt disney world, and bought out norway in merchandise while visiting epcot.  :)

recently, i've had the pleasure of photographing sweet little caitlyn and her new baby brother, ryan.

at first glance, caitlyn has light brown eyes...but come a little closer, and you can see how amazing they are!  little flecks of blue and green throughout.

mommy and daddy are in trouble with this one!  the boys will be chasing her for sure!

i decided on a photo of my little friend gabe.  we were discussing in depth the plot of toy story 3.

maybe because i have two boys, with another on the way.

maybe because there's nothing like a mama's love.

it was the first day of school.

he was going into 3 year old preschool, and she was going into kindergarten.

he was so happy to see her before school, and even more, to stand next to her for a photo or two.

my son is constantly on the go.

on this particlar morning, i was racing outside to document a gator being exacted from the pond in our neighborhood.

yes.  a gator.  the joys of living in florida.

ryan followed me out with hat and crocs on, his usual attire for almost anytime.  don't worry, i was using my telephoto, so we weren't planning on getting too close.  :)

ryan went back in the house to get his pooh car.

i guess he thought if he wanted to get there quick, pooh car was going to do the job better over his 23 month old legs.

summer of love

this summer for my family and me was about getting familiar with our new surroundings and just enjoying some fun with each other.  we did a lot of exploring and getting out in the great outdoors of florida.

holden - smash first birthday cake

this week's i heart faces photo challenge is about photojournalism.  i love it.  it's what i do.

however, instead of telling a story in my every day life, i am going to post one more time about my buddy holden, and his smash cake session.  you see, this was the first time holden had every had cake.  i think these photos tell a pretty good story of his first experience.   :)

i heart faces - week 32 - surprise!

we moved to florida at the beginning of the summer, and i have fallen in love with the sunsets here.  the boys and i go for a walk each night, and most nights i bring my camera.

our neighborhood is right next to an orange grove which the farmer also has some livestock as well.  i told jack and ryan that we were going to walk out by the farmers house, which we hadn't done yet - and this is the look i got:

week 30 - purple challenge

a couple weeks ago, i had a session with my cousin in greenville, sc for her senior portraits.

i love the green railing along the bus depot and the purple paint which complimented her eyes so well.
